The Brief
Given the size and location of the property, the developers wished to appeal to a family market. Three interior design consultants were selected to pitch and The Design Team was successful based on the design schemes presented.
Our Approach
The house was spread across three floors and we felt that the scheme required a design feature to maintain the interest of buyers as they progressed through the property. We fulfilled this with a strong use of colour and a scheme that was consistent throughout the property but
that provided enough new elements through the different rooms to create visual stimulation. Our scheme was light and airy and featured painted furniture. The colour scheme was inspired by fabric used in the kitchen and the colours were applied in an appropriate way to each room. Mood boards were created which incorporated furniture, lighting, soft furnishings and accessories. Full costings were also provided at pitch stage.
The Result
Our pitch was successful due to the combination of the creativity of design, consideration of the needs of the target market and compliance with their budget requirements. The client was delighted with the outcome.
